About the Club

The Colonial Terrier Club was founded in 1992 by 12 terrier owners with the following objectives:

  • To create a compassionate community of responsible, knowledgeable terrier owners, to enrich its members in relationships with their dogs and other people who also love terriers.
  • To educate our members and the public at large about the terrier breeds.
  • To encourage and promote conscientious breeding of terriers with health and temperament as highest priorities.
  • To encourage the meeting of terrier fanciers and the exchange of ideas and information.
